Terms

Charleston first. Invitation only. The night is for the two people going on it.

Effective September 21, 2026.

The service

Matchbook plans a night for two people who already met. It is invitation only. Charleston first. There is no public marketplace, no feed, and no open signup for people you have not met.

Matchbook is not a dating app and is not a lead-generation service. We do not promise a reservation, a match, or a particular place.

Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. You need a US mobile number. Planners use a seat they already have. Guests open the link they were sent.

Texts

If you enter your number and request a verification code on matchbook.date/login, or on an invite link, you consent to transactional Matchbook texts.

If you create a date and enter someone’s US mobile, we send one invite text to that number. Only enter a number for someone you already met and have a reason to invite.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of Matchbook texts. Reply HELP for help.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your side

You are responsible for what you type. Don’t invent access you don’t have. Don’t use Matchbook to harass anyone. Don’t enter a phone number to bother someone who did not meet you.

The night

A Matchbook is a plan. Hours change. Tables move. You decide whether to go. You are responsible for getting there, paying, and how you treat each other.

Liability

Matchbook is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Brett Cunningham / Matchbook is not liable for missed reservations, a closed door, a no-show, or what happens on the night. If something still falls on us, it is only what the law requires.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version lives at matchbook.date/terms. If you keep using Matchbook after a change, that version applies.
